William "Will" Smith

Mr. William “Will” Tyler Smith, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 23, 2022.  He was born on April 5, 1986 in Forsyth County to Stan Smith and Marilyn Howard Alexander.  Will is survived by his wife, Jill Smith; former wife, Mary Grayson Brown and their two sons, Sawyer and Noah Smith; three step-children, Courtney DeBose, Alex DeBose, and Bethany DeBose; father, Stan Smith (Joannie) of Kernersville; mother, Marilyn Howard Alexander of Winston-Salem; paternal grandmother, Peggy Smith; brother, Ben Smith (Crystal); step-brother, Chad Bailey (Sara); also surviving are several nieces and nephews.  Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Elwood and Betty Howard; paternal grandfather, Royce Smith and a step-sister, Ereka Bailey.  Will loved the Lord and his family more than anything.  As a child Will had a love for horses which led to his love and passion for motorcycles.  He also enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to music.  A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, July 29, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Mr. Todd Matthews officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a college fund for his two boys, Sawyer and Noah at https://go.fidelity.com/bpkk5k .
