Willie Lowry

Mr. Willie "Will" Herman Lowry, 81, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Will was born in Forsyth County to the late Willie P. and Nora McCormick Lowry. Will was married to the love of his life, his blue eyed beauty, Carolyn for 63 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and going to the beach. Will loved to travel; going to Ireland was one of his favorites. Mr. Lowry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Carolyn; daughters, Renee Duck (Randall); Sherry Huffstetler (Carl); grandchildren, Reynolds Duck; Riley Cappellucci (Chase); Andrew Huffstetler (Lindsey); Zack and Cassidy Huffstetler; great-grandchildren, Graham and Weston Huffstetler; special nieces Kathy Jacobs (Gene) and Michelle Walters; sister-in-laws, Brenda and Nancy Turner. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Committal will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
