Willie Oxendine

Thomasville – Mr. Willie Marvin Oxendine, 75, passed away May 26, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 28, 1943 in Robenson County, NC to the late Marvin and Mary Helen Locklear Oxendine. Willie was a unique individual who loved his family, and fishing. Willie loved his grandkids, and liked to entertain them with Donald Duck voices, and Woody Wood Pecker laughs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Clinton Oxendine, Woodrow Locklear, and one great grandson, Jay’Cion Oxendine.

He is survived by his six children; Donald Perras, Lisa Oxendine, Lorretta Oxendine, Marvin Oxendine, Markita Burrell, and Raymond Oxendine, six grandchildren, and one great grandson, six brothers; Vance, Ben, Jimmy, C.B. and Jessie, Lacy, and one sister, Geraldine Oxendine.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
