KERNERSVILLE - Wilma Thompson Bolick, 76, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 at her home. She was born September 21, 1937 in Forsyth Co. to the late Foy Edmond and Hattie Childress Thompson. Wilma loved to paint and was an avid clock collector. One of her many joys was traveling with her husband to the paratrooper reunions; she was very proud of him. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Gray Kiger; and second husband, Coy Bolick. Surviving are her daughter, Kathy Kiger; son, Timothy Kiger; step-daughter, Gloria Harris; grandchildren, Brandy Parrish, Timothy Gray Kiger, Jr., LeAnn Grace Kiger, Keetley Hall, Deana Stovall, Shannon Johnson, and Dwayne Woods; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda Smothers; brother, Joseph Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church Cemetery with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating.
