Wilma Regina Huffman

Mrs. Wilma Regina Huffman, 68, died on March 3, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center. Regina was born in Forsyth County on September 16, 1948, to Wilmer Allen and Addie Warren Griffin. She enjoyed trips to the beach, going on cruises, bird watching, cooking and gardening. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved dachshund, ""Little Man"". After many years of loyal service she retired from Members Credit Union. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Griffin; and one sister, Ann Slate. Surviving are her loving husband of 48 years, Ronald Huffman; one daughter, Jennifer Huffman Haning (husband Gary); one granddaughter and light of her life, Alyssa Mae Haning; one brother, Larry Griffin (wife Carol); three sisters, Linda Bolen (husband Jim), Sandra Faye Lowry (husband Richard), and Pam Royal (husband Mike); one sister-in-law, Gay Griffin; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to family, friends, and neighbors for their love and support. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Rev. Tom Albert officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Services, 3175 Maplewood Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
