Wilson William Berger

Mr. Wilson William Berger, age 74, passed away suddenly on October 19, 2013. A veteran of the United States Navy, Wilson was born in Rochester, NY and lived in Sodus where he operated a fruit farm for 26 years and served as Town Assessor for 20 years. Wilson and his wife moved to Clemmons, NC in 2003. He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Sodus, NY and currently attended Clemmons Presbyterian Church. He loved to cook and garden. He was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sheila Berger, sister Brenda (Alan) Plassche of New Cannan, CT, five children, William (Chrissie) Berger of Wesley Chapel, FL, Charlane (Mark) Holloway of Clemmons, Kathy (Ronnie) Jenkins of Potomac, MD, Lisa Berger of Clemmons, Jennifer (Eric) Laurer of Clemmons, eleven grandchildren, Aaron (Caetie) Berger, Ashley & Laura Berger, Emily & Elizabeth Holloway, Katie, Niko, Kelli & Jack Jenkins, Megan & Lindsey Laurer and great grandchildren Kaiden & Ava. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Clemmons Presbyterian Church by Rev. Jay Banasiak. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
