Wolfgang August Hagemann

Mr. Wolfgang August Hagemann, 93, of Winston-Salem, passed away on August 6, 2025, at his home. Wolfgang was born in Schweinfurt, Germany on September 1, 1931, to the late Mr. Wolfgang Hagemann and Mrs. Berta Kerz.

Wolfgang was a man of strong faith; he was consistently praying and worshipping. He loved his family and was always willing to go the extra mile for them. He worked as a foreign car mechanic for most of his life, where he found a love for Volkswagens and all foreign cars. In his free time, he enjoyed walking in the park, admiring nature, especially the trees, and working in the yard.

Those who knew and loved Wolfgang knew about his unwavering love for his family, his kind and gentle heart, his trust in all, and his honest ways. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his first wife, Anna Hagemann; daughter, Elfie Haddock; and a brother Heinz Hagemann.

Mr. Hagemann is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda Hagemann; a daughter, Kristen Harper; a stepdaughter, Sarah Coley; four grandchildren; his sister, Edith Nehls and brother, Walter Kerz (Heidi); two nieces, Sonya Hagemann and Claudia Hagemann; a nephew, Frank Kerz; and a sister-in-law, Ilsa Hagemann.

There will be no formal services held for Mr. Hagemann.
