Zachary Dale West

Zachary Dale West, 28, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at his home. He was born in Oak Ridge, TN on July 26, 1995. Zachary will be remembered for all the love and laughter he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them. He loved the outdoors, whether it be fishing, backpacking, or hunting. He will be remembered as someone who could light up a room with his smile. Preceding him in death was his mother, Angela West and paternal grandmother, Cindy West. Surviving is his father, Chris West; stepmother, Heather West; two sisters, LeAnn Arnold (Chris) and Caitlin Wells; two brothers, Brady Walton and Trevor West; paternal grandfather, Graham West; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Mary Lamb; also surviving is his step-grandmother, Kaye Norton. A celebration of life will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Soapstone United Methodist Church, 12837 Norwood Rd. Raleigh, NC 27613. A reception will be held following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Make-A-Wish or Inter-Faith Food Shuttle in Raleigh, NC.
