Zachary "Zach" Moore

Zachary “Zach” Moore, 45, of Mocksville, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Zach was born on April 12, 1980, to Steven Charles Moore and Doris Holder Moore. He was a graduate of North Davidson High School. After high school, Zach spent several years working in restaurants, where he discovered his love for cooking. He later went on to open his own business, Moore Sales Group, where he quickly became a top salesperson for the companies he represented.

Zach had a deep love for music and was a founding member of his band, The Swamp, where he played bass guitar. Above all else, he cherished spending time with his family and close friends, and he took great joy in helping his wife, Amie, rescue dogs.

Zach is survived by his wife and best friend, Amie Nicole Moore; stepdaughters, Savannah Massey (Rick) and Hailey McCue; and grandchildren, Emmersyn, Lincoln, and River. He is also survived by his mother, Doris “Dee” Harper (Kent); his father, Steven Moore (Sandy); his brother, Steven Moore (Sarah); his sister, Wendi Kinder (Sean); nieces, Emily, Grace, and Ruby; his mother- and father-in-law, David and Vennessa Bowman; and many other relatives, including cousins, aunts, uncles, and close friends.

In accordance with Zach’s wishes, the family will hold a private visitation.

Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is serving the family.
