Barry Singer

Kernersville, NC – Mr. Barry Wayne Singer, 73, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. He was born on December 7, 1946 to the late Clarence Singer and Mildred Litten Singer in Newton, NC. Barry served in the United States Army from 1966-68. He was employed by the Chautauqua County Sheriff Department from 1977-1979. He was also employed at BOCES Educational Center in Ashville, NY for 16 years until he retired.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his grandson. Barry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Singer; a daughter, Molly Reopel (Clifford) of Winston Salem NC; a son, Adam Singer of High Point, NC; and a grandson, Owen.
