Mr. Berkley Dale Rogers,79, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  He was born October 15, 1940 in Stokes County to the late Ralph William Rogers and Clidie Lou Jessup Rogers.  Berkley was a loving husband, father and a great pops to all his grandchildren. He was a diehard Duke fan, an avid hunter, fisherman, and  thoroughly enjoyed traveling to shooting matches.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Ken Rogers and sister, Joanne Padgett.  Berkley is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Carol Stewart Rogers; three daughters: Lisa Venable (Randy), Pamela Rogers, and Dana Rogers (Kevin); six grandchildren: Jordan, Tiffany, Joey, Kristen, Alexis, and Abbie; two great-grandsons, Zachary and Beckham; a brother, Gordon Rogers (Anne); a sister-in-law Virginia Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Westfield Baptist Church Fellowship Hall with Rev. Ricky Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. With our current health concerns, the family asks that masks and social distancing be practiced.  In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westfield Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Donor's Choice.
