Mr. Bobby Harold Crumley, 86, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Brighton Gardens of Winston-Salem. He was born in Bluff City, Tennessee on November 17, 1933 the son of the late Gilbert Edward “Gib” Crumley and Della Mae Scalf Crumley. Bob was a follower of Jesus Christ since he was 10 years old and a member of First Christian Church of King. Bob served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was on the Senior Olympics Softball Team that won a gold medal, when he was in his late seventies. Bob retired from Piedmont/US Air in their reservations department. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Murray Crumley; a brother, Charles “Bunk”; and three sisters, Charlotte, Sue and Phyllis. He is survived by a daughter, Angela Crumley of Winston-Salem; four sons, Bobby James Crumley of Greensboro, David Lance Crumley (Lynn) of Pinnacle, Mitchell Clayton Crumley of Winston-Salem and Jonathan Gilbert Crumley (Charlene) of Lawsonville; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Fiebke (Martin) of Ohio.  A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2020 at First Christian Church Cemetery in King with Pastor Glenn VanMeter officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to: First Christian Church of King.
