Mr. Bobby Gene Priddy, 78, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born in Stokes Co. on December 19, 1941 the son of the late Hugh Eugene Priddy and Nina Bullins Priddy. Bobby was a NASCAR fan and loved fast cars. He was a simple man that loved his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Kyle Barneycastle. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Williams Priddy; a daughter, Gloria Priddy Barneycastle (Wayne); a son, Bobby Gray Priddy; a grandson, Jason Wayne Barneycastle; a great-grandson, Aden Eli Barneycastle; two brothers, Ralph Priddy (Vera) and Ricky Eugene Priddy; and a special cousin, Junior Hurd. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Bannertown Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Don Charles officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 at Bannertown Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Bannertown Baptist Church General Fund, 2300 Bannertown Baptist Church Rd., Germanton, NC 27019.
