Brenda Lankford

Mrs. Brenda Leigh Caudle Lankford, 69, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born on January 9, 1953, in Yadkin Co. the daughter of the late Pleas Caudle and Margaret Mickles Caudle. Brenda was a member of City Park Church in Winston-Salem and enjoyed working with kids at North Side Lanes. She worked at Sara Lee for many years, but her favorite job was driving a school bus for WS/FC Schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Eugene Lankford. Brenda is survived by her daughter, Christina Lankford (Kevin Allen); her son, Brian Lankford (Sarah); six grandchildren, Jalen Lyles, Koloney Stover, Kennedy Allen, Abbigale McCoy, Kristian Allen and William Lankford; a sister-in-law, Susan Silvers (Barry) and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services for Mrs. Lankford will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 Sunday evening at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
