Charles Bauguess

Winston Salem - Mr. Charles Thomas Bauguess, 74, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born December 7, 1945 in Wilkes County to the late Ivan Bauguess and Norma Hauser. Charles was a 20-year veteran of the United State Air Force, where he was a technical sergeant and munitions specialist.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a stepfather, James Hauser.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandra Harrison Bauguess; his five children, David Deckard (Teresa) of Winston-Salem, Melissa Swain (Fred) of South Carolina, John Deckard of Winston-Salem, Stephanie Martin (Jon) of Winston-Salem, and Crystal Cortese (Dan) of Winston-Salem; and eight grandchildren, Kristen, Travis, Ashley, Zachary, Paxton, Aaron, Tristan, and Emily.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Rural Hall Church of God 270 College St, Rural Hall, NC 27045. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Bauguess family.
