Charles Fulton

Kernersville – Mr. Charles Ray Fulton, 81, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Forsyth County, January 17, 1938 to the late J.V. and Annie Fulton. He retired from R.J.R Tobacco Co. after 30 years of service and farmed his whole life. Mr. Fulton graduated from Walkertown High School, Class of 1956, and was a lifelong member of Goodwill Baptist Church.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Fulton and his son, Michael Fulton. Surviving are two sons, Donald Ray Fulton of Kissimmee, FL, and Rodney Fulton of Lexington and wife Donna; one daughter, Stephanie Fulton of Kernersville; and three grandchildren Tristen, Abigail, both of Lexington, and Charleigh Fulton of Kernersville.

He was blessed over the last 11 years with the companionship of Kathryn Cobbler, a very special lady to him and the family.

A memorial service will be held 3:30 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Greg Mullis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trellis Supportive Care at 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103.
