David Amundson

David Arden Amundson, 58, passed away at his home on Feb. 20, 2019. He was born Dec. 29, 1960 to Floyd and Idabob Amundson in Indianapolis, IN. With the start of his company, Superieur Photographics, David had a very successful photography career spanning over 20 years. His specialties included dance studios, headshots, media personalities, family portraits and stunning bridal portraits. His work will be cherished by families throughout the generations. David was a naturally gifted drummer and performed with many local bands. Music was his second passion, following photography. While his health permitted he enjoyed an active lifestyle including travel, scuba diving and skiing. He loved spending time with his daughter and sharing his love of adventure and music and more recently introducing his granddaughter to the joys of music. David will be remembered as a kind man with a gentle soul and a big heart. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. David was preceded in death by his father. Floyd Amundson and his brother, Jamey Amundson. He is survived by his mother, Idabob Amundson; his daughter, Lauren Hoffmann and his granddaughter, Pilot Skjaerris. Services will be private.
