Evelyn Williams

Mrs. Evelyn Mae Martin Williams, 91, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 in Greensboro. She was born in Davidson County to the late Henry Bishop Martin and Lilly Brown Martin on June 12, 1929. Evelyn married C.L. “Pete” Williams in 1946 and was married for 42 years until his death in 1988. She retired from Western Electric Company with thirty years of service. Her special joys were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by seven siblings. Evelyn is survived by her children, Jane Williams Ricks (Wayne) and Guy Williams (Brigett); seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 12 noon Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, with Rev. Joe Hout and Mary Jo Brewer officiating.
