Geneva Terry

Mrs. Geneva Dixon Terry, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Priddy Manor.  She was born January 16, 1932 in Stokes County to the late Robert Lee Dixon and Nannie Eller Owens Dixon.  Mrs. Terry retired from Wachovia with 40 years of service.  She was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Terry was preceded in death by all her siblings.  She is survived by her son, Daniel Lee Hemmings (Charlotte); granddaughter, Brette Hemmings; step-daughter, Penny Terry; special friends, Sherry Hunter and Jimmy Nielsen; and several nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, January 18, at Crestview Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
