Ginger Simpson

Mrs. Ginger Diane Simpson, 64, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Ginger was born on September 10, 1956 to Melton Tucker Robertson and Margie Brannon Robertson in Forsyth County. She graduated from West Forsyth High School. Each year, Ginger and her husband, Robert spent their wedding anniversary at the beach. They also enjoyed the annual “Fun in the Sun” Cruise-In trip to N. Ginger was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her loving husband of 42 years, Robert E. Simpson, Jr.; daughters, Wendy Caudle (Daniel) and Buffy Williams (Heath); grandchildren, Landon, Ryland, and Grayson Caudle; and a sister, Victoria Davis. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Pastor James Cates officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of Derrick L. Davis Cancer Institute, for their kindness to Ginger and the family. Memorial donations may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
