Guelda Crouse

Guelda Hartman Crouse passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021.  She was born in Davidson County on November 16, 1935 to her parents Ina and Robert Hartman.  Surviving is her husband, Paul O. Crouse, to whom she was married for over 65 years; her son, Robert Crouse; daughter, Elizabeth C. Sullivan and son-in-law, Scott Sullivan; and her grandsons, Brandon (Emma) Sullivan and Shane Sullivan.  She graduated from R. J. Reynolds High School and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from East Carolina University.  She taught school for more than 30 years and was a member of Konnoak Hills Moravian Church.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Salem Moravian Graveyard with Rev. John Rights officiating.  The family wishes to thank Hospice Home Care nurses and everyone who helped in so many ways.
