Hector Amadeo

Mr. Hector Ivan Amadeo, 61, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020.  He was born January 17, 1959 in Coamo Puerto Rico to Teresa Amadeo and the late Carlos Amadeo.  Hector proudly served his country in the United States Army for 15 years.  He received his master’s degree in physics from the Illinois Institute of Technology and worked at Wake Forest Baptist Heath as a Health Physicist.  Hector was an avid reader and loved the game of baseball, playing during his childhood in Puerto Rico and with the Army during the duration of his service.  In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Arnaldo Amadeo.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Letisia Colon Amadeo; daughter, Brianna Owens (Adam); granddaughter, Sophia Owens; two sisters, Reina Amadeo and Yolanda Amadeo; two brothers, Osvaldo Amadeo and Irving Amadeo; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, July 9th at Woodland Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Gammons officiating.  (Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall)
