Jerry Jones

Mr. Jerry Ray Jones, 78, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.  He was born in Forsyth County on September 18, 1943, to the late James Pledger and Lessie Todd Jones.  Mr. Jones was a longtime member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church.  He was a brick mason and owned Jones Masonry Co. for several years.  Mr. Jones loved his family.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  Preceding him in death was a brother, Billy Pledger Jones.  Surviving is his loving wife of 59 years, Trudy Jones; two sons, Eric Jones (Kelly) and Chad Jones (Tammy); daughter, Cary Napoletano; five grandchildren, Will Jones, Jason Jones, CeaCea Long (Daniel), Amber Runge (Kevin), and Daniel Napoletano; two great-grandchildren, Avery and Addy; sister, Lynette J. Harper (Richard); nephew, Craig Harper (Theresa); three great-nieces, Ashley Fontenot, Rachel, and Shelby Harper; also surviving are special friends, Ronnie Eads, Doug Brandon, David Hege, and Marty Myers.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Perdue and Rev. Greg Freeman officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Harmony Grove United Methodist Church Building Fund, 5041 Styers Ferry Rd. Lewisville, NC 27023.
