Kathy Beekman

Kernersville – Mrs. Kathy Wood Beekman passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital with her loving husband by her side. Kathy was born in Forsyth County, on November 17, 1955, to the late Garland Wood and Hazel Fansler Wood. Kathy loved her church and all the people in it. She loved crafts, especially scrapbooking. Her very favorite place was the beach, a little oceanfront getaway at Topsail Beach with her husband by her side.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Ron Gregg.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Beekman, one son, Brian Kilpatrick (Wendy), one daughter, Tondra Taylor (Adam), a very special grandson, Xander Taylor, one sister, Pam Gregg, a niece, Darbi Howard, and a great niece, Charli and great nephew, Justice.

There will be no formal services. The family asks all to donate to the charity of the donor’s choice in Kathy’s memory. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Beekman Family.
