Leslie Harris

Mr. Leslie Fletcher Harris, 73, of Tobaccoville passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Fletcher was born in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Leslie Harris and Clara Lethcoe Harris on January 21, 1948. Leslie, known to his family and friends as “Fletcher” was a fun loving, happy- go-lucky person who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed building and fixing things around the house, he could repair just about anything. In his spare time Fletcher loved to go fishing, hunting and would debate with you if given the chance. Fletcher also served his country in The United States Army. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Harris and a brother. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Harris of the home; children, Tonya Bodenheimer (Paul) and Sabrina Shrewsbury (Robert); grandchildren, Ben and Lauren Bodenheimer and Michael Smith; sisters, Carol Harris and Gayle Robinson; brother, Dennis Harris. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Bruce Harris officiating.
