Louella Williams

Mrs. Louella L. Williams, 96, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019.  She was born November 14, 1922 in Stokes County to the late John D. Lewis and Emma Mabe Lewis.  Louella was known as a loving, hardworking mother that will be missed by all.  She was a member of Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church since her baptism in 1938.  In addition to her parents, Louella is preceded in death by her loving husband, Simon Williams; three sons: Oneil Williams, Kenneth Williams, and Roger Van Williams; daughter, Linda Williams; son-in-law, Glenn Woodrow Duncan; grandson, Charles Duncan; two brothers, John Lewis and Charles Lewis; and three sisters: Emma Jean Owens, Barbara Evans, and Nannie Ola Nelson.  She is survived by three daughters: Era Mabe (Lloyd), Kathy Duncan, and Jewel Mabe (Keith); daughter-in-law, Wanda Williams; ten grandchildren: Lisa Lineberry, Seth Mabe, Kelly Mabe, Karen Southern, Travis Duncan, Ira Mabe, Lucinda Smith, Christopher Williams, Wendy Williams, and Timothy Williams; six great-grandchildren: Heather Herman, Torri Blankenship, Brett Mabe, Lauren Oakley, Wesley Lineberry, and Jesse Glenn Duncan; six great-great-grandchildren; and brother, William Lewis.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday at Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Dan Abbott and Elder John Priddy officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund C/O Mary Bennett, P.O.
