Mrs. Marjean Link McMillan, 87, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022.  She was born October 11, 1934, in Caldwell County to the late Horrace and Mary Link.  Marjean was a family woman who loved the Lord.  She attended Brookstown Methodist Church for 50 plus years where she was a part of the United Methodist Women.   Marjean enjoyed many things in life, namely: her family, especially her grandchildren; traveling the U.S. with her husband in their motorhome, as well as travelling internationally; splitting time between Pfafftown and the home at Surfside Beach; square and round dancing, where she made many lifelong friends; and volunteering at the American Red Cross and Meals on Wheels.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Lee McMillan, Jr. and two brothers, Vance Link and Gary Link.  Marjean is survived by her son, Edward Lee McMillan III (Troyanne); daughter, Melanie Lee McMillan; five grandchildren: Matthew McMillan (Rachel), Allison Chandler (Chase), Brooke Beroth, Alana Wishon (David), and Benjamin Beroth; two great-grandchildren, Ella Chandler, Gareth Chandler, and two great-grandchildren on the way; five siblings: Sonya Hunter, Judy Drum (Kenneth), Mary Jo Herman, Robert Link (Jimmie), and Tommie Ann Hall (Keith); sister-in-law, Betty McMillan; and numerous wonderful nieces and nephews.  The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Cadence of Clemmons for the loving care given to Marjean during her illness.  A special thank you to Vickie Blair who was much more than a caregiver, she became family.  A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Monday October 3rd at Brookstown Methodist Church with Rev. James T. "Chip" Webb officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brookstown Methodist Church, 6274 Yadkinville Rd, Pfafftown, NC 27040 or the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O.
