Nancy Gross

Kernersville – Mrs. Nancy Jane Roberson Gross, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center. She was born on October 19, 1934 in Forsyth County to Clarence Franklin and Alma White Roberson. Nancy loved her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special day for Nancy would be visiting the mountains and the beach while ending the day with KFC and chocolate ice cream. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Bobby Lee Gross. She is survived by three children, Lynn Crews (Barry), Eric Gross (Cheryl), and Beth Hurst; eight grandchildren, Chad Fulp, Brian Fulp (Christina), Jennifer Gross (Juvencio), Erica Slater (Tyler), Brooke Gross, Brandon Gross, Leah Hurst, and Allison Hurst; seven great grandchildren, Joseline, Annabelle, Evan, Lilliana, Brantley, Tyson, and Paige; her sister, Wanda Hartle; and many nieces and nephews.

Due to restrictions for public gatherings, there will be no public services. With social distancing observed and masks required, a private family graveside service will be held at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morris Chapel United Methodist Church at 2715 Darrow Road, Walkertown, NC 27051. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
