Patty Collins

God called one of his angel’s home this Wednesday.  Miss Patty Jo Melvin Collins, 65, passed away December 5, 2018.  She was born September 9, 1953 in Cumberland County to the late Donald Melvin Sr. and Alice Johnson Melvin.  Patty was a kind and loving mother, aunt, sister, and friend.  There was never a person to have met her that would say different, especially any cat that came into contact with her. She was a member of Woodland Baptist church and the Faithful Followers Sunday school class.  In addition to her parents, Patty is preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Goff and Linda Compian.  She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Collins; brother, Don Melvin Jr. (Betty); three sisters: Donna Hepler, Pauline Miller, and Barbara Brewer; and special nieces and nephew: Amber Burleson (Brian), Billy Melvin (Lisa), and Ashley Pontius.  A special thanks to her sister Donna and nephew Stevie for all of the love, care and support that was given.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, December 8 at Woodland Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Gammons officiating.  Burial will follow King Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, 5526 West 13400 South, #510, Herriman, UT 84096.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
