Phyllis Stillie

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Cooksey Stillie, 80, passed away at her home on October 8, 2021. She was born on July 16, 1941, to the late Hollis Doyle Cooksey, Jr., and Margret Swaim Cooksey. Phyllis loved to collect and shop for antiques, read, and enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis Doyle Cooksey, Jr. and Margret Swaim Cooksey; and her brother, Richard Cooksey.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Stillie; son, Michael Kyle Stillie; daughter, Renee Stillie Lawson; four grandchildren, Matt Lawson, Parker Lawson, Bradley Crabb, and Spencer Lawson; and five great-grandchildren, Lawson Coon, Falynn Pope-Crabb, Lincoln Coon, Merrick Coon, and Winnie Lawson.

A visitation will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, or to Meals on Wheels of Senior Services of Winston-Salem, 2895 Shorefair Drive NW, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
