Mr. Ralph Overton Bolt, 83, of Mocksville, NC passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born March 21, 1939 in Forsyth County to William Carlos Bolt and Gladys Jones Bolt. Mr. Bolt had retired from Hunter Brothers Oil Company and Quality Oil Company.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Peggy Craver Bolt; a sister, Louise Sells; a niece, Debbie Taylor (David); a great nephew, Matthew Taylor (Kathy); a great niece, Bethany Owen (Christopher) and a great, great niece Isabelle Grace Owen. He is also survived by nephews Carlos Bolt and Robby Bolt.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bolt was preceded in death by a brother, Emmitt Bolt and a sister, Wilma Bolt.

Mr. Bolt lived the majority of his life in Clemmons, NC where he was  known as "Red" by many. He served many years with the Clemmons Jaycees, serving as President and receiving the Distinguished Service Award. Mr. Bolt was also well known for his wooden toys that he made and sold at local craft shows with his wife Peggy. Ralph had one rule though, no child who wanted a toy left without one! If a parent couldn't afford a toy he always made sure the child received one!

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain Randy Hillman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.  .
