Reba Love

Mrs. Reba Ann Love, 76, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Novant Health Medical Center. She was born October 10, 1944, in Surry County to the late Reece Anthony and Lona Norman Anthony of Lowgap, NC. She was loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted Christian member of Jessup Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Love was a cosmetologist, housewife, and tobacco farmer. She also worked in the family insurance business until she retired. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers, Wade Anthony and Julian Anthony, brother-in-law, Frank Tutterow; and nephew, Jeff Tutterow. She loved to work outside in her vegetable garden and yard. She loved all her family, friends, and neighbors. Mrs. Love is survived by her two children, Michael Love (Tammy) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Kimberly Ann Durham (Dwight) of Pilot Mountain, NC; three grandchildren Elizabeth Ann Darisse of Pilot Mountain, NC. Joshua Marc Darisse (Lindsey) of Summerville, SC, and Cody Michael Love (Ashley) of Pilot Mountain, NC; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Fleenor and Ella Love; brother, John Reece Anthony; two sisters, Janet Tutterow and Karen Goins (Doug); and one sister-in-law, Ann Anthony. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Jessup Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Bill Marler officiating. A burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. till 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at the church.
