Sylvia Lloyd

Kernersville   - Mrs. Sylvia Lloyd, 83, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. Sylvia was born June 27, 1938 to the late Samuel Phillips and Esther Mae Lee Phillips. Sylvia was Veteran in the United States Air Force. She was a nurse with 35 years’ experience, an avid reader, and played the piano. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Harrell Lloyd, and her siblings. Surviving are her loving son, Rodney Lloyd (Jamie), two granddaughters, Keegan Argo (Jason), and Kinsey Lloyd, and many special nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with her nephew, Sam West speaking. Burial will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery.
