Vickie Priddy

On Sunday, July 26th, Vickie Martin Priddy of Clemmons, loving wife, mother and sister passed away at the age of 56. She was born in Winston-Salem NC on December 13th, 1963 to Joan and Lonnie Martin, Jr. She was employed by Simply Southern Cuisine as kitchen manager at the time of her death. She cherished the friendships she made with her co-workers and customers. She also had worked for Piedmont Airlines/USAirways, retiring after 20 years of service. Most of all she loved her job as mother to her son Tyler. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Joan Watson Martin and Lonnie Martin, Jr.; grandmother, Kate Watson and grandfather, Lester Watson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory husband, Christopher Priddy; son, Tyler Priddy, of the home; stepson, David Priddy (Mikaela) of Broadway, NC; sisters, Kathy Martin Craven {Jeff), Patti Martin (Reid) and, brother, Joe Martin. In-laws, David and Sue Priddy, of Walnut Cove, NC; Grandchildren, Liam, David, Rhys and Madelyn Priddy; Nephews, Michael and Christopher Craven; and Great-Niece, Mikayla Craven. The family would like to thank Dr. John Smith and Dr. Timothy Collins for the excellent care they provided. Also, Charity, at Dr. Collins office, for always being available to us when we had concerns. Her family would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support they have received. She will be truly missed by family and friends. Donations can be made to Hospice or The American Cancer Society. Due to the circumstances a private service will be held for immediate family members.
