William Fagg

Winston-Salem – Mr. William “Louis” Fagg, 87, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021. He was born on January 18, 1934 in Stokes County to William and Anne Nelson Fagg. After 40 years of service, Louis retired from Sears. He was a faithful member of Gospel Light Baptist Church where he was a long time Deacon and usher. Louis was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Shelby Matthews Fagg. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Turner; his son, Greg Fagg; and his two grandchildren, Justin and Tashia Turner.

A private family graveside service for Louis will be held at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. There will be no public visitation, but friends are welcome to sign the register from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
