William Seastrum, Jr.

CARY – William “Bill” Eugene Seastrum, Jr., 45, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. William was born on April 1, 1974 in Jamestown, New York to William Eugene and Marolyn Farley Seastrum. He had deep love for God and his family. Bill had an incredible artistic talent in carpentry, had a love for farming and was a certified beekeeper. His love for the outdoors inspired his recently completed 2200-mile hike of the Appalachian Trail. Bill never met a stranger, was passionate about sharing Jesus with others, and will be missed by all.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William E. Seastrum, Sr.; his mother-in-law, Lenna Flora; three grandparents, and other family members.

Surviving are his wife, Laura Seastrum; his mother, Marolyn Marchiando; a sister, Paula Astrom; a niece, Victoria Sanborn; grandfather, Paul Farley; father-in-law, Charles Speer (wife, Daphne); and step father-in-law, Dale Flora (wife, Lynn), also aunts, uncles, cousins, and brothers and sisters in law.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Tim Shaw officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
