Allan James Braye

Mr. Allan James Braye, 80, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. He was born to the late Florence Steadman in Norfolk County, Massachusetts on December 31, 1942. Allan had a love for people and was an avid socialite. That love is what led him to become a member of the Barber Shop Quartet in Winston-Salem. Allan spent his career as an Auctioneer where he ran his own business. He spent his free time building his stamp collection and was known to be very skilled in his hobby. In addition to his mother, Allan is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Braye, and Bob Braye. He is survived by his two loving sons, Chris Braye (Frankie), and Tim Braye (Amanda); grandchildren, Ashley Braye, Kirstie Braye, Brad Braye, and Anna Braye; and brother, Paul Braye.
